Κάθε στοιχείο αποτελείται από δύο ινογυψοσανίδες κατά EN 15283-2, κολλημένες εργοστασιακά με μετατόπιση 50 mm. Έτσι δημιουργείται πατούρα, όπου τα στοιχεία κολλιούνται μεταξύ τους με κόλλα δαπέδου Fermacell και στερεώνονται με βίδες. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι μια ενιαία, φέρουσα πλάκα πάνω στην οποία μπαίνει απευθείας το τελικό δάπεδο: πλακάκι, laminate, παρκέ, βινυλικό ή μοκέτα. Το σύστημα καλύπτεται από Ευρωπαϊκή Τεχνική Αξιολόγηση ETA-18/0723 και διαθέτει EPD (Περιβαλλοντική Δήλωση Προϊόντος).
Each element consists of two fibre gypsum boards to EN 15283-2, factory-bonded with a 50 mm offset. This forms a rebate where the elements are glued together with Fermacell floor adhesive and screwed. The result is one continuous load-bearing slab that takes the floor finish directly: tiles, laminate, parquet, vinyl or carpet. The system is covered by European Technical Assessment ETA-18/0723 and has an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration).

Selection starts from the room use. The resilient layer that gives sound insulation reduces point load capacity, so every element has a use category and load limit.

Use categories to DIN EN 1991-1-1/NA: 1 residential, 2 offices, 3 and 4 heavier loading. When 2E11 and 2E22 are laid directly on a load-bearing subfloor, the point load rises to 3.0 and 4.0 kN respectively. Per Fermacell's official recommendation, mineral wool elements are intended for residential use only; offices with acoustic requirements use the wood fibre version. Τα βασικά στοιχεία ξεκινούν από 20 mm (2E11) και 25 mm (2E22). Τα στοιχεία με ενσωματωμένη μόνωση έχουν μεγαλύτερο πάχος, ανάλογα με τη μόνωση.
Basic elements start at 20 mm (2E11) and 25 mm (2E22). Elements with bonded insulation are thicker, depending on the insulation.
Για απλή ξηρή επίστρωση, βασικό στοιχείο (2E11 ή 2E22). Για ηχομόνωση σε κατοικία, έκδοση με ορυκτοβάμβακα (κατηγορία χρήσης 1, 1,0 kN). Για ηχομόνωση σε γραφείο, έκδοση με ινοσανίδα ξύλου 2E31 ή 2E33 (έως κατηγορία 3, 3,0 kN), γιατί κατά την επίσημη σύσταση της Fermacell ο ορυκτοβάμβακας είναι πολύ μαλακός για υψηλότερα φορτία.
For plain dry screed, a basic element (2E11 or 2E22). For sound insulation at home, the mineral wool version (use category 1, 1.0 kN). For sound insulation in an office, the wood fibre version 2E31 or 2E33 (up to category 3, 3.0 kN), because per Fermacell's official recommendation mineral wool is too soft for higher loads.
