Following James Hardie's decision to exit the European fiber cement market, Buildcore is ending the supply of James Hardie architectural fiber cement boards. From the group's product range, we continue with Fermacell systems.

What James Hardie announced
Στις 20 Αυγούστου 2026 η James Hardie ανακοίνωσε δύο αποφάσεις για την Ευρώπη: την πώληση της Fermacell, μαζί με τα brands fermacell και Aestuver, στον όμιλο Holcim, και το κλείσιμο της ευρωπαϊκής δραστηριότητας fiber cement. Η ολοκλήρωση της συμφωνίας με τη Holcim αναμένεται μέσα στο πρώτο εξάμηνο του 2027.
On 20 August 2026 James Hardie announced two decisions for Europe: the sale of Fermacell, including the fermacell and Aestuver brands, to the Holcim group, and the closure of its European fiber cement business. Completion of the Holcim transaction is expected in the first half of 2027.
Ως αποτέλεσμα, τα αρχιτεκτονικά πάνελ και planks fiber cement της James Hardie δεν διατίθενται πλέον στην Ευρώπη, άρα ούτε στην Ελλάδα. Οι τελευταίες παραγγελίες έκλεισαν σύμφωνα με το χρονοδιάγραμμα του κατασκευαστή και οι τελευταίες παραδόσεις ολοκληρώνονται τον Νοέμβριο 2026.
As a result, James Hardie architectural fiber cement panels and planks are no longer available in Europe, and therefore not in Greece. Final orders closed according to the manufacturer's schedule and final deliveries are completed in November 2026.

Η Buildcore είναι Business Partner της Fermacell στην Ελλάδα. Η Fermacell συνεχίζει κανονικά τη λειτουργία της, με την ίδια διοίκηση, και μετά την ένταξή της στη Holcim. Τα συστήματα είναι διαθέσιμα από σήμερα:
Buildcore is the Fermacell Business Partner in Greece. Fermacell continues to operate normally, with the same leadership, after joining Holcim. The systems are available today:

- Τσιμεντοσανίδες για χώρους με υγρασία.
- Fibre gypsum boards and fire-rated wall and ceiling systems.
